In order to allow installation of X701D-AU and/ or SPC-200AU to cars with Audi sound systems, we created a variety of adapters to allow a safe installation and operation.

KWE-FR1AU:
This adapter is needed if the Audi radio (Chorus, Concert, Symphony) will stay in the vehicle and the Premium Sound Upgrade (SPC-100AU + SPC-200AU) is to be added to cars with passive sound (8RX). This adapter allows to loop the speaker lines in a way that we can pick up the audio signal straight from the radio and route the speakers in the doors to our amplifier.
ISO gender changer is not needed.
